In good condition with light signs of age and original marks on the paper from the artist.
Framed in the frame chosen by Karl Weschke for a 1992 exhibition at the Redfern Gallery. The frame has light wear and marks, but is in very good condition.
Mounted in conservation standard board
This timeless drawing depicts one of the ballet dancers studying under Vera Volkova in the early 1950s, when Weschke would visit her dance studio. There is an additional drawing of a dancer on verso of this exhibited drawing (see pictures).
