“The 1962 Holiday Diary is an absolute delight, and very Rena. I can still remember the summer end of term when Rena and her colleagues would be saying ‘See you at Lydd!’. They would come back tanned and relaxed and ready for another year of the repressive regime at Bournemouth School for Girls.
Good luck with sales, it deserves to do well.”

“I’m thrilled with my new print! It is beautiful and the frame and mount suit it perfectly. It was delivered quickly and was robustly (and sustainably) packaged – with no polystyrene in sight! It’s brightening my living room already – thank you very much.”

“Delighted with the loveliness of the [Rena Gardiner 1962 Holiday] diary. The quality of the reproduction is superb, highlighting the freshness and fluidity of Rena’s work. I look forward to the printing of the other two diaries. The two cards were also splendid. Your customer service is also highly commendable and the packaging and nice message from Katy are appreciated. I cannot praise the Baguette Press too highly in bringing the delightful work of this important 20th century topographical artist to a wider public as well as collectors of Rena Gardiner’s other books and graphics. “

“I’ve just received Rena Gardiner’s holiday diary and find it to be an absolute delight. Reproducing Rena’s distinctive work is always a challenge but this book does capture a sense of both her vibrant colour and her pictorial verve; something that the double page spreads are particularly good at conveying. Reproducing the diary at it’s original size, 25.5 x 31.5cm, (10 x just over 12 inches in 1962 speak), was a brave decision that only enhances this. The postal packaging took this into account and the book arrived in pristine condition. I understand this is the first book to be published by the Baguette Press. They’ve set a high standard for themselves. Highly recommended to both those who know Rena’s work and for those to whom this would be a first glimpse. “

“What an incredible artistic find. I fell upon Art on Paper on a random search looking for unique and meaningful art which can be very inaccessible to the general public. Approachable and knowledgeable, Katy curates beautiful art and has impeccable taste. I am so pleased to have found this shop and will continue to check back for more purchases. ’The Cottage’ has an unexpected history and warms my heart whenever I see it.
Thank you Katy.”

“I came upon the Art on Paper exhibition by accident, but how fortuitous! I am an artist myself (using mostly papers, and latterly developing a practice with stone) and have long been a fan of Elisabeth Frink. Never imagining I might be lucky enough to own anything by her. The exhibition blew me away, and I couldn’t leave without buying an etching, which now hangs in pride of place, so I see it as soon as I enter the room. Katy could not have been more helpful in the procurement of my favourite print, and serendipity seemed to play a part in the decision. The print was suitably wrapped and ready for collection as soon as I was ready to pick it up.
Thank you for a really enjoyable experience.”
