Windfarm by Brian Hanscomb

Price includes UK shipping.

1992, Brian Hanscomb

Edition Number: 38/100.

Mounted and framed with conservation standard board and a reconditioned modern silver frame, which shows some wear, but is in good condition and ready to hang.

Signed, numbered and titled in pencil by the artist.

Small engraving by Brian Hanscomb (b. 1944) on the controversial topic of windfarms and wind turbines. This work perhaps captures the architectural beauty of windfarms. The engraving was inspired by the building of the first wind farm in Britain, at Deli Farm, Delabole, Cornwall in 1991 and is in the Science Museum Collection. Other work by Hanscomb is held in the British Government art collection.
