1975, Karl Weschke
Edition Number: 15 / 30
Signed, numbered and dated in pencil by the artist.
This print has been lightly cleaned and is in very good condition. It has light discolouration to the very edges of the paper, which will not be visible once mounted. Good authentic and rare print, ready to frame.
The etching features Dankoff (Weschke’s Russian Wolfhound) having a good scratch. Dankoff features in a number of Weschke’s prints and appeared in a number of his paintings. You can see more of Dankoff in the aquatint Woman and Dog and the lithograph ‘Je t’aime‘, that we also have for sale.
