Paul Nash Exhibition Catalogue Cover

Price includes UK shipping.

1973, Paul Nash

Supplied mounted on conservation standard mount-board and framed in a recondition solid wood frame.

Original patterned wrap cover from a P&D Conlaghi Exhibition catalogue, Paul Nash : lithographs, wood engravings & drawings, 1917-1941. This abstract design is included in Curwen’s Specimen Book of pattern papers. This is Curwen No.22 and was first printed in 1927. This pattern paper is an offset lithographic print made from a wood engraving. In designing such patterns, Nash moved away from what he described as “the responsibility of representation”.

The print is in excellent condition and the frame has some light wear, but is in very good condition and ready to hang on your wall.
