The best collection of Nevinson’s work available. Produced to accompany an exhibition in 1999 at the Imperial War Museum, London, this book is now quite hard to get hold of. There are a few hardback copies on Amazon, though they range from £135.00 to £932.00 🙂 Everyone else must be keeping hold of their copies. Condition is good. There is some wear to the dustjacket and very light discolouration to the very edges of the pages and the binding is good.
Official blurb …
C.R.W. Nevinson is best known for his depictions of World War I, but he was also an accomplished painter and printmaker. In this, the most comprehensive book available on Nevinson’s work and art, his achievements and his contribution to twentieth-century art receive a long-overdue reassessment.
