Unsigned but sold directly for one of the Weschke family members and sold with a certificate of provenance and authenticity.
This sumptuous drawing of Weschke’s muse encapsulates all the love and affection he felt for her. It was made in 1981 during a period of relative calm in Weschke’s life, and is one of a number of fine nudes produced at this time. The pin holes at the corners indicate that this drawing would have been pinned to the paperboard on the wall of Weschke’s studio as a working reference for the subsequent fine painting of the same name, which was exhibited.
In excellent condition with only minor signs of age.
