c.1950s, Constance Anne Parker

Edition Number: Unknown

Unsigned and titled by us.

Supplied mounted on conservation quality mount-board and framed.

Constance Anne Parker (1921 – 2016) was a sculptor, portrait painter and as we can see here, a highly skilled print-maker. A small wood-engraving celebrating pantomime and festive theatre.

Anne Parker has focussed on the white-clad sylphs, but the lights and audience play a big part in this composition.

The print is in good condition and has had a false border added for mounting. The frame is a painted Victorian one and has some light wear but is in good condition and ready to hang.
