Date and Artist unknown
Edition Number: N/A
Supplied mounted on conservation quality mount-board and framed.
In very good condition with some paper tears near the away from the plate area. There are some light surface scratches to the frame glass. The frame is pre-owned and has some light wear, but no major damage and ready to hang.
A bit of a mystery this one, but the references could be to The Crichton Club, London, which was a Dramatic Authors Club in the late 19th century. There are some references which suggest this original etching was an invitation card. There is a monogram, that could be ‘Y.K’ or ‘K.Y’. A really interesting and curious print, that makes a fab object in its heavy black frame.
