Roy Bizley (1930 - 1999)
Roy Bizley (1930-1999) trained at Swindon School of Art and Slade School of Art where he was a contemporary of Stanley Jones and Raymond Briggs. In 1964 Roy began a teaching post at Leicester Polytechnic where he established the Printmaking Department in what would later become De Montfort University. At DMU he taught many artists, including Angela Harding, Brad Faine, Dale Devereux Barker and Dr. Tim O’Riley.
