Monica Rawlins (1903-1990)

Monica Rawlins (1903-1990) was an artist and designer. She studied at the London Central School of Arts and Crafts 1925 – 1928 and then under the tutelage of Leon Underwood. She was a wood engraver and portrait painter.

She exhibited her work with the Society of Wood Engravers (of which she was a member) 1925-1930. In 1926 she designed a poster in 1926 for London County Council Tramways. She later moved to Wales where she lived, worked and reared geese.
