Fernando says: “Gondolas are beautiful objects, elegant black floating shapes. This ink and mixed media study does not describe accurately a gondola but it retains a similar balance in terms of structure. For me, the effects of water and reflections make the picture resonate with the identity of Venice.”
Signed and dated by the artist in pen. Mounted with conservation standard mount board and framed in a renovated gilt frame.
