Unsigned 1st state etching
Float mounted and framed in excellent condition. The frame is reconditioned and shows light wear.
This soft ground etching is inscribed with the title and print details by the artist in the lower margin, but unsigned, as it is a process print. It is printed in black ink on laid paper, but despite the lack of colour, makes great use of light.
The print is mounted with conservation quality mount-board and framed in a pre-owned oak veneered frame. The frame is a little ‘shabby’, but somehow suits this etching.
