This image is titled ‘Bristol from Horfield Road – infirmary in foreground’, and having grown up in Bristol, it is a familiar image to me. There is a cut to the plate image at the top left, but this is barely visible once mounted and framed.
I have not been able to find out who Winifred A. Thomas is, but she clearly loves Bristol, and is an accomplished amateur artist. Whoever Winifred was, I am loving her work!
