Fab example of Goetz’s blend of surrealism and love of printing. This limited edition aquatint etching, has elements of this sea, presumably as could be found at the edge or border of Manche. Or perhaps with Normandy’s position with the English Channel, the edge refers to the edge of France or the border with England. Or something else entirely!
The frame is reconditioned thin painted white period frame that has some wear, but is in good condition and ready to hang.
