Mounted with conservation standard mount-board and framed in a mid-brown frame, with black painted border.
This image is similar to a Currell print, ‘Memories of Levant’, one of which is held in the British Government collection and one in the V&A. It’s smaller, but contains a similar set of buildings and composition.
The etching is in excellent condition having had a conservation clean and just has some small creases to the top right of the paper. The frame has some wear and is a little ‘scruffy’ in places, but looks good and is ready to hang.
