Ger Dekkers (1929 - 2020)

Ger Dekkers (Gerrit Dekkers 1929 – 2020) was a Dutch artist who piorneered landscape photography in the Netherlands. He studied at the Academy for Art and Industry in the 1950s and In the 1970s, he began photographing typical Dutch landscapes with polders, dykes and rows of planted trees. He developed a style of displaying photo sequences of these landscapes.
