Michael Renton (1934 – 2001), was born in London and attended Harrow Art School, but left before finishing his studies. He spent most of his working career working on wood engravings and sign writing. There’s a little more about him in this news on paper page.
Artwork Condition: Very good condition having had a light conservation clean.
Framing: Framed with conservation standard mount-board, in a modern frame. The frame is reconditioned, has some light wear, but is in good condition and ready to hang.
