Alyson MacNeill studied illustration and printmaking at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee and an MA in design at the Glasgow School of Art. She is a member of the Society of Wood Engravers. MacNeill has illustrated books for the Folio Society (Mill on the Floss, 1986) and the Old Stile Press (Mackay, C., Twenty Three Wood Engravings for The Song of the Forest, 1987 and Benedicite Omnia Opera). Benedicite Omnia Opera was published in 1987, and MacNeill used a rich linocut technique more like this linocut.

Artwork Condition: Very good condition.

Framing: Framed using conservation standard mount-board. The frame is a reconditioned modern thin black frame, that has some light marks, but is in good condition and ready to hang.
