Hubert Andrew Freeth (1912-1986) was a painter, draughtsman and engraver. He was born in Birmingham and studied at the Birmingham College of Art and the British School in Rome. He exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy and the Royal Watercolour Society from 1936.

We love this etching of Frenchmen Playing Cards so much, we bought one (11/50) ourselves, many years ago. Read more about Hubert on his shop page.

Artwork Condition: Very good condition.
Framing: Framed with conservation standard mount-board, in a modern gold-coloured frame. The frame is reconditioned, has some light wear, but is in good condition and ready to hang.
