This large charcoal sketch, by Karl Weschke (1925 – 2005) is a commission sale. It is a signed preliminary charcoal sketch of Fishcatcher, that eventually became this screenprint. The sketch we have, was owned by le Carre and gifted to his then 12 year old niece. This sketch comes with a delightful letter of provenance from the current owners.

Artwork Condition: Excellent condition with only the very lightest of marks from the previous mount, which are barely visible.
Framing: Unframed and supplied with a standard size conservation mount, ready to frame.
